Sunrise at our door steps
Everything we want, everything we need, we get
Smiles and laughter fill our lives
Oh how fortunate we are
Forget not our brothers and sisters in Iraq
On borrowed time they breath
Facing each day with fear
Will the mothers never get tired of wiping their tears?
Oh people of Islam
Next time you sleep with a full stomach
Raise your hands and pray for the same for the less fortunate
Forget not their blood splashed on every street
Forget not the sight of their lifeless loved ones at their feet
Lets fill our hearts with thanks
Be grateful for the silence that surrounds us
Forget not the loud blasts that splits our Muslim land apart
Forget not the cries of the injured
Forget not the sirens that deafen their ears
Tell your family how much you love them
Fill their lives with endless love, and expect in return the same
Show the world the strength slam has, lets put them all to shame
Forget not the mother who lost her son to the ones with no heart
Forget not the daughter who cried for the pain her father suffered
